We have had a few people express an interest in a Cutest Pet Contest. This year we have decided to see how much Emlenton loves their pets. We will do a Cutest Pet Contest. If you are interested please send your pet’s picture, name, and your name & phone number to emlentonsummerfestival@gmail.com The deadline is June 19. I will get the pictures printed and put on display by June 20 at IGA alongside Baby Beautiful. The first-place winner this year will receive a trophy and a goody bag and also, if able, to ride in the parade with our Beautiful Baby winners. Second & third-place winners will receive trophies as well. Next year we may have a monetary award, but this year we are just seeing how much interest there is. So come on everyone, let’s see those cute fur babies.
Voting is held at the Emlenton IGA until 1:30pm Saturday of the festival, and the winners will be announced Saturday during the festival by 2:00 pm.
